Earthquake south of Moe

A 3.2 magnitude earthquake which struck south of Moe this evening was felt across the region.

Geoscience Australia will confirm the scale of the quake at a later date but provided an estimate of its strength.

People as far away as Warragul noticed vibrations.
The tremor happened at 19:13.

We heard two tremors around that time – just near Rokeby. It sounded like a boulder rumbling down a corridor. We’ve heard them before so guessed what it was…
