Police appeal after alleged Traralgon CBD assault

Police have appealed for witnesses after a man was arrested following an alleged assault in Traralgon’s CBD yesterday.

“The assault took place in Seymour Street before moving down along Franklin Street at 3.10 p.m,” Victoria Police leading senior constable Lee Thomson said in a media release.

“There were no serious injuries.

“Police believe the alleged incident was filmed by numerous bystanders, the incident began in Seymour Street before moving down along Franklin Street.

“The 37-year-old Traralgon man was been bailed to appear at Latrobe Court in 2018.

“Investigators are keen to hear from witnesses to the incident or anyone who may have mobile phone or video footage of the alleged offence.
